Here's what you had to say about this band's Big Day Out performance!

adam
i sat in the stadium and will never watch a band from there again. I like the kings of leon but they didn't do anything freaky. Maybe I was too far away...yeah, thats what it was

adam hunter
i had high hopes of these kids from the south. There didnt seem to be a lot of heart in their performance though. It really was the case of 'hey, we're here, here are our songs you know, and now we're outta here'... now it all feels like a blur. Did they play?

Alicia
Hadnt heard much of 'em until BDO, will definately buy album now. They went off.

ange
these guys made my day.. it was just so amazing to see them in the flesh, and to discover that he speaks just like he sings! crazy voice.. k.o.l all time favorites!

Beck
Kings of Leon are the hotest shit out there at the moment
there performance was one of the best of the day.

Chelsea
Kings of Leon are positively my favourite band and the sole reason I went to the Syd BDO. I thought they were absolutely awesome and was devestated to miss out Enmore tickets. The sound and singing was amazing. Although they seemed shy, they did not disappoint. KOL took top BDO performance.

courtney alice
beautiful boys. beautiful sound.

crin**
They went off but sound quality was poo found that with other performances on the same stage also

Danielle
Great stuff. They rocked the stage from beginning to end at Sydney's BDO. Glad to have seen them!! Let's hope they're there again next year! Keep the great music coming!

Em
my favorite show for the day, melb bdo. seriously they are amazing, cant wait to go to theor side show!!!!!!!

Emma
Bloody tops!! (as always!) fabulous show played a good mix from youth and young manhood and aha shake heartbreak. Good to see more people getting into these fine young men.

glenn
not as good as BDO '04

just seemed to be going thru the motions in melbourne

Hannah
Saw the boys play Melbourne BDO and then their sideshow a couple of days later. Both absolutely awesome sets. Agree that Trani was probably not the best song to end on seeing as it's a bit of a slow one. But all the same I am absolutely obsessed with these guys and their songs are incredible! Great energetic performance and they sound as amazing live as they do on their records. California Waiting is possibly the best song ever written. Go the cow bell intro!

Harriet
I'm a huge fan of Kings of Leon and seeing them perform live was a dream come true. They were awesome, chose all the right songs and the crowd totally got into it. If I ever got the chance to see them again I'd definately take it.

iris
I was really disappointed with their gig at Sydney BDO. I absolutely love the albums but I thought their show lacked heart and soul. Left me quite untouched. They seemed to play the songs and then left. Very sleek, but unfortunately forgettable. I don't think they even noticed the audience.

Jaakko
Easily, the most stupefyingly brilliant band I got to boogie on down to at the Perth BDO. 45 minutes just wasn't enough time! These guys deserved a much better slot! Still, 45 is better than none, right?

Jamie
Great set, great songs, good vibe, but I was for some reason dissapointed, I haven't been able to put my finger on it but I feel it may be too little facial hair this time round.

jodes
KOL made my day. Best band i saw and heard. the reason i went along to BDO gold coast.

Josh
Polite and violent. Like being sliced by a feather. A triumph. Made Franz look like choirboys.

Joss
I saw them at Melb BDO and they were brilliant! KOL are my fave band and I thought TRANI was probably their best on they day. they all looked hot as (especially Jared) and they were all awesome. matt played the shit out that guitar, he's a legend! long live the kings!

Kate
The Kings were amazing! I bought my bdo ticket just for them! I saw them at the 04 BDO aswell and had to see them again. I had a great time dancing to boys at the G coast!

Katie
Fucking Fantastic! I saw them at the BDO two years ago and they were just as good. After just getting of the plane to play as well as they did shows how good they really are. And I loved those couple of older songs they chucked in there...Molly's chambers and California Waiting..Fucking Awesome Guys!!

kelly weiss
I thought there performance was great. they played a mixture of songs from Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Skake heartbreak, including my favourite 'Milk'. I have seen their show in London which went for alot longer. So given this their performance was too short at the BDO. the only other complaint was their last song was too slow and not a good ending song.

Sydney Big Day Out

Lisa Little
Kings of Leon absolutely stole the show as they were high energy that sent awesome vibes throughout the crowd! What a excellent LIVE performance - So glad we were there to experience the Kings of Leon!!!

Lloyd
Was expecting a lot as we all know they can write a catchy rock pop tune, but in sum, their show was quite dull. there was not a hint of enjoyment on their faces and they just didnt seem to care. A band for the radio no doubt.

Lola
Love the folky feel of these guys. Performance wise, they weren't too enthusiastic and it felt like they just wanted to sing and leave....besides that i was on cloud nine. How fantastic do they sound live? So good to hear one of your fave bands actually sound incredible without all the backup of recording sounds...

Lucky Lyn
Oh yes I did at the Gold Coast BDO - they rocked - the pink drum set did not make the boys look one bit girly. What a family they are. My favorite of the day

Matt
saw them in adelaide and although they sounded great they didnt really get into and didnt seem to enjoy themselves. was a little dissapointed as i heard that they were the pick of the bands at the gold coast bdo.

Paul Lindsay
Apart from their final song and the distance I was away from them they were one of my highlights of the day. Having to sacrifice The Magic Numbers and The Go! Team to see them they really did make my day. They probably would have been better suited to headlining the sidestages rather than Shihad but they played a good tight set that included all the hits and a lot of their stronger album amterial as well. Would love to see them return for some club shows. One of my definite highlights of the year.

Phil
Highlight of the day. No question - best band on the planet at this point in time in my humble opinion. Made franz look like chumps!!!

Rich
Caught the Melbourne set.. Sounded great and very tight. Too bad the show was completely spoiled by dickheads in the crowd who thought they were more important than the band on stage

Roxy Lorenz
K.O.L were so amazing! The vibe was chilling, Caleb could barely be heard for the first 3 songs as the crowd belted out every lyric (not an easy task). They sounded great, and looked tres cool!

Tina
I was front row centre for these boys, i flew from brisbane after seeing them at the GC BDO... They were so good that into their 5th song.. I passed out.. ha ha.. rock and roll baby.... Go the old-skool beatle mania style!!! when somethings this good you can't halp but not pass out ... woot

twinnas
ABSOLUTE LEGENDS!! So goddamn awesome and sexy too! after we saw their names on the line up, decision was made... BDO here we come! best song was 4 kicks easy, but no holly roller novacaine? damn. Oh well, better come back next year boys!

Warne
Saw them in Perth and they made my day. Crowd was right into as the belted out plenty of faves. Was so good to finally see them in the flesh!! And what a sick drum kit!!
