Here's what you had to say about this band's Big Day Out performance!

alex
kickass show.

Andrew
Fantastic as always, except Chad gave the same speach that he did at his show on Friday night word for word. Get some new material

I travelled from Townsville to see Mudvayne. I was not going to go to the big day out before they were announced to play. I got to the grounds early and got my spot for, by far, the greatest band at the festival. When they came on they shocked everyone and sent the crowd into this amazing pyscho state. No band at this years Big Day Out could compare to the musical talent they possess and I was highly disappointed for the power to cut out, I saw greg kick his mic stand down, and i knew how he felt. To you ignorant 'music lovers' who don't understand anything about great performances - you need to wake up and keep your useless opinion to yourselves. This band has the bggest crowd response out of anyone on the day. As the biggest Mudvayne fan in Australia, i'm confident in saying that these guys absolutely owned the Big Day Out and made the White Stripes sound like a Pub band with no bass.

Mudvayne should have continued their set and showed what real songwriting talent is all about.

i was in the wolfmother gold coast front mosh when mudvayne came on. when they cut out, we all started laughing because mudvayne were terrible. they arent a very good band to start off with, but the sound was all blurred and you couldnt distinguish anything. we were all glad to see them leave the stage

Codey
band cut out bout 3-4 songs in. very disappointed. ruined my day

colby mountjoy
i only 12 and i was at the front row for mudvayne and im a big fan and i rekon they were one of the best there other then white stipes and wolfmother

D train
The worst act at the sydney BDO. Violent, lame crowd, horrible sounds and screaming nonsense vocals. How lame were the interactions with the crowd. Questions like "Are you drinking?", "Are you smoking weed?". Yeah pure genius you redneck, halfwitted 'musicians'.

Dana Lee
Can't believe i had to stand there through that.......... it sucked sooo bad i almost cried. I was the happiest person alive when the power cut out. :-)

Fletch
Undeniably brutal, right unitil their unfortunate, abrupt ending. Before the speakers gave way Mudvayne assaulted us with tracks from all of their longplayers.

Grant Fuller
Just want to add myself to the minions of pissed off viewers that were eager for the Vayne at Gold Coast and were sourly disappointed with the horrible balls grabbing disappointment of the power outage, hope they rock the rest of the country's ass off!

hazel
i saw mudvayne at bdo auckland there fuking awsum im in love with chad grey and there proformance went off keep it up foreva a fan hazel

Jade
Well i was in the mosh at gc when the power cut out and i think it was ver disappointing, i thought they were unbelievable and when the crowd finished not falling off it was amazing. I think they were great, for those people who thought it was blurry it was probably because we were so close to the speakers in the mosh

Jeremy
Mudvayne sucked, cant believe i had to wait through their set while waiting to see wolfmother. Worst band of the day

kinkee
man Mudvayne owned the big day out in adelaide they shit all over the other bands oxox go muddy

KoeN
Truly we had to feel sorry for Gerling: their pre-Mudvayne performance was drowned out by hundreds of hungry metal yearning fans chanting the 'MUUUDVAAAYYNNEEE' drone. And, in a mosh twice the ferocity of their 2005 predecessors 'Slipknot', MUDVAYNE delivered in every aspect. Truly they owned the crowd, in what was the heaviest, tightest and most awe inspiring act of the 06' BDO.

Mark
So disappointed with the lack of information that was given out that the Goldcoast BDO when the power went out!! 40 minutes standing there wonderint what the heck was going on?? That was pretty pore form I thought!

Matt
Easily the best band at the Sydney BDO! i was in the circles right up the front row (i was the kid in the 'Vayne shirt jumpin like a loony for anyone who was there). On Par with Slipknot last year!

pete
mudvayne made wolfmother sound like Kylie. brutal and powerful, a great set and a fantastic mosh. one of the best 3 bands of the fest. in sydney along with tourettes and the mighty beasts of bourbon

Pete
Yes goddamn it - it's about all i went to the gold coast BDO for ... and we should all know what happened by now ... lost the amps after about 3 tracks and the crowd stood about for an hour waiting for the guys to come back. Methinks the organisers messed up by cutting them out to keep the schedule because of something they were responsible for...

Quigs
I saw Mudvayne at the Big Day Out SYDNEY and they went off, so many injuries... For some pictures i took head to... www.the-butchers.net or www.myspace.com/thebutcherssupersonic

sam
rubbish. the best bit was when the sound cut out.

Shaun
Gold Coast
Mudvayne's performance turned into a big disaster. Why you ask? Straight from the word go, the sound was muddy and unleveled, where the bass and the kick drums was overpowering everything else, the vocals going up and down, like the sound engineers were still trying to get it right. You couldn't even hear the snare either. The band still smash their way through trying to still put on their best performance despite the sound problems, then during 'Not Falling' (the forth song) midway, the sound is completely cut off. The band is also surprised, and then walk off to the back. After what looked like a heated discussion with the organisers, the band finaly walk off. The crowd is waiting for Mudvayne to come back on. But no, they didn't. And in come the boo's, the rants, the bottles, every metal fan was pissed off about the situation. And to make things worse, no explanation why mudvayne wasn't back on. The rest of the day, every metal fan was venting out how much they were ripped off, some were crying because they travelled massive distances just to see mudvayne. It wasn't mudvayne's fault though, they too were also pissed off that nothing could be done.
So whoever was organising the sound, you lot should be shot! Nice one for stuffing up mudvayne's performance, it looked like they were going to tear up everybody else. They could've at least told us why Mudvayne couldn't perform...

Tommy P
i was front row in the middle, waited all day for it....than the power went off, wasnt happy. but still they played amazingly

Wags
I'm very jealous of the Gold Coast Big Day Outter's, because Mudvayne got cut short there. saw them in Melbourne. Dismal and Pethetic
