I saw the Subways at Sydney BDO - and they looked completely flattered at the fact that so many people were there and interacting with them! They are a great live act, and not disappointing at all.
However security was a bit rough - Billy and his handler got into a fight in the pit with some idiotic security guy who wouldn't let him run over to the side where the fans were.. a few punches later and Billy was back on stage taking it all in his stride.
Great gig. Can't wait to see them with Kings of Leon on Saturday.

Caught em at Syd BDO. Even tho i was in a mass beer Q when they were playing i could hear em loud n clear.
I dont think the rest of the Q was impressed with me jumping side to side and singing everyword to the top of my lungs. but it was their loss, its the BDO spirit to let it all hang out.
In a few years people will be looking back at this lineup saying how good it was - as many of the artists including subways receive alot more attention.

I had the privelage of being at The Subway's first ever Australian gig which was the Gold Coast Big Day Out. Although their audience was small they made the most out of the people who were there, I was up the front. Billy (lead singer) took off his shirt and dived into the crowd right where I was. That was the highlight of my day.

Saw them at Sydney BDO and since I can't put the review in for that yet, I'll put it in for GC seeing as they probably performed just as well at both venues. The Subways ROCK! Charlotte's my ROCK 'N ROLL QUEEN. A must see at BDO or anywhere for that matter. Get their album "Young for eternity" now. Well worth it. Even chatting with random people on the train home, everyone was saying The Subways were awesome!!! Oh Yeah

This was the most magical amazing experience of my life they are Brilliant ..... they were beyond expectation The Subways Energy is bounced all over the crowed making everyone sing dance jump do there own thing just brilliant Charlottes voice follows you and billys voice brings you in....Love to thank Billy Charlotte and Josh for the most amazing day there are the nicest band in ever…

The Subways at the melbourne BDO were fucking awesome. at first the crowd were just nodding their heads along to the music, but the band got us jumping and going crazy, one guy was crowd surfing on a huge inflated phone. When Billy jumped onto the crowd, it went nuts. everyone was trying to reach him, no matter who they crushed in their attempt. charlotte was dazzling, and Josh was hitting those drums so fucking hard that sweat and saliva was flying off him. it was the highlight of my day. LONG LIVE THE SUBWAYS!

I was really excited at the fact that the subways were going to be apart of this years big day out. Luckily for me was in the front row for this performance. They were better than i imagined, i went ballistic when the played "i want to hear what you've got to say" and from there on in it was a brilliant show. Congratulations Subways and look foward to many more Australian tours. Thanks for Coming
