Here's what you had to say about the Splendour in the Grass performance!
Alex
Like his set well enough. Saw him roaming around the grounds later on. He had that "you recognise me, don't tell anyone - I'm cooler than you". Think he is a poo bum wee head now!
Brendan
It was very good to see them again. I loved hearing the new and old stuff. I wanted to see the dancing puppets again, which i probably missed. But overall, it was good fun.
Carol
Didn't know anything about this band but I went to see them because I love Canada. I'm a drummer, so I was doubly thrilled to see two drum kits on stage! The set was interesting, the musicians talented and for me this was probably the most original and exciting performance of the whole weekend. Look forward to seeing them again.
Charles
heck yes! they were so so hot, def the highlight- missed some of the set as i was dragged to tbg's who paled in comparison, did they play "Hello Hammerheads"?
chris from wa
wow what a surprise these guys blasted the crowd, with visuals to co-incide with their music it was an experience to say the least
Doogie
One of the musical hightlights of the weekend. His latest release was brilliant but was keen to see how it could be translated live! Dan didn't disappoint! If he was on a bit later the great visuals would have been awesome!!
georgie
ohh...the excessive bass = chunky corn spew
jasmine
too much fun! loved their intense facial expressions too...
Jimmy
One of the highlights of Splendour for me. The tent was suprisingly empty which was a shame since this band needed to be appreciated by more people.
Julia
Mindblowing
Michelle
Amazing... 2 drum kits went off.
Nate
Carabou were really doing some groundbreaking stuff up on stage i fell , awesome sound, fat bass, wacky patching!! With all bandmembers displaying their diverse talents as they all swapped instruments at different parts of the performance as well as mid song whist pulling it off perfectly. A definete highlight for myself. Big kooto's goes out to all the band!!
