Here's what you had to say about the Splendour in the Grass performance!

Alex Cobb
Actually I was a little dissapointed with their set. They played classics like "Holes", "Opus 40" and "Funny Bird" which were great, but apart from that nothing really shone. Their set seemed a bit short too and i get pissed off when bands do that, especially considering what was to follow (R.A.). Lead singer was overly precocious and didn't really interact with crowd. Reminded me of when i went to see Yeah Yeah yeahs at Livid; short & frustrating .

alinta
god they were hideous.the lead singer was an absolute knob and after 20 minutes i wanted to kick him in the shins

Andy
Amazing performance, was blown away by how their new songs sounded live. Openers secret for a song and black forest sounded even more powerful than on the album, and the theatre and musicmanship of the whole set was mesmerising. The closing song dark is rising was the highlight.

Ben
These guys sucked, so boring and a waste of a time slot.

Cameron Groves
WOW! I have always liked the sounds of Mercury Rev and have watched them previously at livid but this was a whole new level. My unexpected high-light!

Cameron Groves
Escapism at its best! I was mesmorised by the lighting, beautiful sounds and the brilliant conductor like performance from the lead singer. An unexpected highlight. 10/10!

Chris
Took me to a beautiful place of wonderous joy.

Clera Makelani
I think he's quide and handsome and he is rock

Georgia
I loved this performance. I was already a Mercury Rev fan, but this set really sealed the deal. A refreshing act to follow the intense performance by Shihad, with a relaxed, easy-going sound that is difficult not to like.

Henry
they were pretty boring, i carnt understand what everyone likes about them, crappest band that played over the 2 days

jesus
peaked during holes
never stopped the party after that

Julianne
they were crap

Mat
This was one of the highlights for me. didnt know much of their music b4 hand but was thoroughly impressed with the energy and intensity mix of them. being a janes addiction fan this suited me lovely! thanks splendour, see you next yr!

matt
definantly an under appreciated act. they were brilliant. closing with the dark is rising was something i never saw coming. i had the joy of encountering two girls on the sunday who were shocked at my lack of sarcasm when i said that i loved mercury rev.

Pete
there were great. I am a big fan although have never seen them play live before. They were fantastic, a great show. and Jonathans magic arm waving thing was cool.

Phil
Absolutely brilliant.

Simon Koutaplis
After hearing the new album I was really looking forward to see if Mercury Rev could pull it off live and they certainly did. They were absolutely amazing! It was like watching a symphony orchestra with guitars. The entire band are gun musicians and brought across one of the best live sounds that I have ever heard.

Steph
Thats me in the photo up there!! Front row!!! I hadnt heard of Mercury Rev before splendour but they were definately worth seeing! Not bad at all... xx

Tina Mc
