Here's what you had to say about the Splendour in the Grass performance!

alicia
the most magical music played at the entire festival

Ally
Totally awesome. It was the biggest surprise of the festival for me. Everyone was moving. Nice to see a major act interacting with the audience and making us all feel special. Some other bands should take note.

Baker
Put the performance up there with Tools last tour. Had no idea Moby had such an electric live act.. Truly outstanding!

Belle
Moby was fantastic - First time to see live for me and I was seriously impressed - definately highlight of the weekend - cover of 'You shook me all night Long' was priceless - a thoughtful and sensational performance.

casey Brennan

CZ [Sydney]
A real surprise package for me. Having only heard his most reccent album (Hotel) I never released he had so many classics under his belt!

Very Impressed.

Dan @ Toowong
I loved the uplifting vibe of our man Moby, and his talented accomplices.....
the rev up, the resting of his crowd, the tune into the aussie way with the beating cover of AC/DC All night long....and the ivory tinkling, angelic, classical-come 'man down under' mid show was a real treat
this man is a gem in today's music performances, well done Moby, you rocked our festival :~}

Danielle
Moby was off the hook. I went along thinking it would be pretty decent but not expecting too much. It was the most amazing end to the most amazing weekend of my life. Everyone was enjoying the music in unison - Moby got us all on the same level which is something few musicians manage to achieve. Shook Me All Night Long was great but when he played Porcelain that's when I realised I was having the absolute time of my life. Definately a truely great entertainer.

Davros
I was totally expecting moby to be dull and mainstream like his recorded music has become, however, what an amazing performance, it was a highlight...

Dom

Splendour in the Grass dished up such a plethora of act but Moby defiantely was the cherry on top. His music talent stimulated the dancing masses to want to shake all night long!!

Moby was the big surprise of the whole SITG weekend for me.
Came over after Hilltop Hoods finished, walked in on"Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad" and the energy coming from the stage was so amazing. The whole tent was just captivated. It was really really good

lukarse
Was so so cool. Sorry to the chick I nearly dropped as soon as "feelin' so real" came on at the end! hahah had a blast

Luke
Well we were absolutly blown away. We didn't expect anything great after thinking he was more of a electronic/dance artist that may not to exciting after seeing so many superb bands over the weekend. But then we were delighted to hear such an amazing performance by Moby. The band was just incredible. We were near the back of the tent and sound quality was just perfect. But there was more added to the excitement when he played 'AC/DC you shook me all night long' classic which sent the crowd into a excited jumping freenzy!! Delighted fans were excited by the surprise! I beleive Moby now has more fans after playing splendour and what a perfect finish to the best music festival of the year!!!!

luke # brissy

Matt.
wiked performance, seventh time i had seen him....he just better and better...amazing.

Melissa
Seeing Moby was like seeing the eiffel tower, great wall of China, Antartica - seriously I am lucky enough to have been to all, and also to see Moby. Was fantastic and a perfect way to end the fab festival - thank you Moby!! You are definitely one of the best acts in the world.

Morgan Walker
Moby suprised me with an incredibly interesting and diverse performance, rather then him and a mixing desk. The whole band came out, a talented bunch and great together. The female singer hit the nail on the head with every song, and Moby played well on the Bongos as well as guitar, with his nice vocals accompanying. The keyboard player was good, as was the drummer and other guitarist. The band played a great variety of their classics, even incorporating ACDC "Shook me all night long" and a 30 second metal section. Moby was great with the crowd, closing the Splendour weekend with a huge band, and alot of new Moby fans i would think. Congratulations Moby, an awesome set and leaving great memories for years to come.

nelesha
Moby blew the roof off!!! and to finish off with a crazy bush doof beat was epic!

Rachel Trevarthen
It was definately the most inspiring and uplifting live performance I have ever seen. Truly special and MOby knew exactly how to work the crowd. A great way to finish a fabulous festival.

rob
the surprise package - thought being dragged from the hilltops (who are awesome by the way) would be a big mistake but it turned out moby went off. Well chosen headliner.

Sally
Absolutely awesome!! He's a very talented musician...great to see the diversity. He rocked with ACDC's Shook me all night long to his last doof doof song. Unreal!!!

Splendour addict
Got dragged away from the hilltops to see him and have got to say that he was f*cking awesome. put on one of the best lives shows ive ever seen. moby You Rock!

Tim
Moby was the real surprise of the weekend. Amazing set from start to finish. 5000 people jumping in unison to one of the most powerful live sets i have ever seen. Delicate, hypnotic, political, gracious and energetic. amazing stuff and perfect finish to the weekend.

Tripper
Hasn't been on top for such a long time without a reason. From the rave days through the dodgy animal rites to the present, the man knows how to move a crowd. Will Bloc Party have a career as long as him? I very much doubt it. Moby was supreme.
