Judging criteria

A music video of the year is selected for its outstanding achievement as an Australian musical video work of art. For its creativity, originality and it’s technical excellence.

Eligibility

The period of eligibility of the awards is from Dec 2007-Nov 2008. Any music video made available (either independently or through a record company) by an Australian artist and that is also directed by and Australian director in this period is eligible for the award.

Any album sent to the rage ABC music video library (and therefore accessible by triple j tv) in consideration for tv airplay is automatically also in consideration for the Award. There is no other official submission process.
