Favourite Gig Moment:
East Coast Blues and Roots Festival 2007.
Fishbone, followed by Ozomatli and the Roots! I casually wandered in to the Jambalaya tent, lured in by the sounds of Fishbone, only to find lead dude Angelo Moore crowd surfing - with his mic and a really long lead - halfway back into the crowd! They had me hooked, and as I stood there I scoped out a good spot to see Ozomatli - and managed to get a spot on a random box down the front of the crowd next to one of the poles. For once I could actually see what was going on, so I danced like a crazy person and didn't give up my prime position until after the entire Ozomatli and The Roots sets. I met lots of fun, crazy people standing on that box, and despite the need to pee I held out and saw one of the best line-ups ever! I definately couldn't stop smiling after that one!
