An unusual day:
We wake up in Sydney, fly to Byron still recovering from last night's show with Bloc Party. Splendour kicks off with Futureheads. Dan said "they were great - I love futureheads!!!!!! - they should have headlined - i am getting angry".
Hid our vodka in our dressing room so phil from grinspoon doesn't steal it. drove around byron trying to find a place to stay - we learnt last year that sleeping on the beach is not cool. some dancing hippies freaked us out with their marsupial dancing. firing up the blowtorch in order to torch the stage at the end of our set (for dramatic effect).

Clearly one of the best acts there!! 10/10 Their ability to get the crowd dancing with their amazing style of music and stage presence. Personally i thought they should have headlined-- Its no wonder Cut Copy are touring with the greatest dj's and bands such as Mylo, Bloc Party and Franz Ferdinand. Come back to melbourne!!!

Was very disappointed to have missed this, but it was scheduled at the same time as TLE (why, oh why?), an act I had been waiting years and years to see. Hope to see Cut Copy ASAP.

cut copy are so awesome, their album is one that i just keep going back to after over a year of continuous play, and seeing them live is even more fun -- they just have a blast, on the off chance someone from the band or someone associated with the band reads this... please come back to adelaide soon i can't keep flying interstate to see you guys!

These guys highlight for me of the festival. Danced my ass off! Been a fan for a long time and thought they had come a long way since BDO 2005. Time performing o/s has served them well.
